For the first time ever, Red Apple Learning in collaboration with the India Game Developer Conference (IGDC) and Scope Gaming Community, has organized an exciting game jam in Kolkata. Together, they hosted a 48-hour online game jam from 28th June to June 30th, 2024. Participants in this exciting competition has the chance to win prestigious prizes, including free tickets to the India Game Developer Conference (IGDC) in Hyderabad, winner and participation certificates from IGDC, and valuable internship opportunities with some of India’s leading gaming studios. This event acted as a golden opportunity for the game developers to showcase their talents and connect with fellow enthusiasts as well. More than 70 young game developers enrolled in the game jam.

 

 

Empowering the Youth of West Bengal

Through this game jam, IGDC and Red Apple Learning aim to open doors for young aspiring game developers, providing them with the tools and platforms needed to succeed in the dynamic gaming industry. Moreover, the collaboration has a shared vision that is to nurture and support the next generation of game developers and designers from West Bengal.
